Caper is an independent press dedicated to sharing untold stories. We collaborate with authors, charities and museums to co-publish their projects and share them with our community of readers.

What we do – authors

Caper works with authors to publish their books. We prepare their manuscript for publication, including structural editing, copy editing, front cover design, page setting and and printing.

We also offer manuscript consultancy for authors who wish to pursue a traditional publishing route.

Caper uses industry-leading printers for high quality, professional, results. We sell the books online and in local bookstores and promote them via social media and live events.

What we do – organisations

If you are an organisation with a book project to publish, but without the internal capacity to produce and print the book, we can help.

We take on the project management, design and delivery of the book according to your needs.

Caper has published audio books, picture books and ebooks as well as trade and paperbacks. We can ‘white label’ the project highlighting your organisation not our brand.
